Pleasanton, CA — January 12, 2005 — D.W. Morgan Co., a provider of global supply chain optimization services and consulting, is now offering in-house custom brokerage services capabilities for its clients.

According to David Morgan, CEO at Morgan Co., by incorporating custom brokerage services into its portfolio of business offerings, Morgan Co. can provide customers with door-to-door oversight of their shipments anywhere in the world.

The new economy is global and highly complex; our clients need expertise on international shipping matters, from ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, to proper documentation, international tax strategy and duty drawback, he commented. And they need it all to happen as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Our in-house custom department meets those needs and helps clients expand their sphere of operations.

The new brokerage office is located in South San Francisco for optimal proximity to the international airports in the region. Morgan Custom Broker Liz Chapman, who has 25-year's experience in the international import/export business and has held a customs broker's license for 20 years, will manage the customs office. Her last position was at International Bonded Couriers (IBC), where she had overall management responsibility for the company's import/export customs issues.
