Taps Pegasystems to provide rules-driven technology

Cambridge, MA — February 14, 2005 — GMAC-RFC, a wholly owned subsidiary of GMAC Financial Services, said it has selected Pegasystems Inc.'s PegaRULES Process Commander solution as part of an initiative to provide rules-driven technology that enhances the company's business process management capabilities.

GMAC-RFC is a leading private issuer of mortgage-backed securities and mortgage-related loan asset-backed securities, and is the No. 1 warehouse lender in the United States. The company uses its strengths in securitization, lending and investment to offer a broad portfolio of innovative capital solutions to businesses in a variety of markets.

GMAC-RFC said it chose Pegasystems after a nine-month selection process. The contract was finalized in the fourth quarter of 2004.
