Leading natural meat company to automate its transportation planning, management processes with Nistevo
Minneapolis, MN — July 26, 2005 — Coleman Natural Foods, the largest natural meat company in the United States, today said that it has selected the Web-hosted Nistevo Network to automate its transportation planning, execution, carrier management, customer service and reporting processes.
Coleman will deploy Nistevo's transportation management system (TMS) across its Red Meat, Poultry and Sausage divisions. The Nistevo Network will be used as the single platform within the logistics operations for centralized transportation planning and optimization, execution, carrier management, dispatching, dock management, distributed visibility, settlement and scorecards.
The Nistevo Network permits Coleman to deploy different transportation strategies across its three divisions (Meat, Poultry and Sausage), within a single transportation management platform. Coleman undertook a comprehensive review to identify a partner with domain expertise in the meat and poultry industry to assist its logistics professionals on staff in solving the company's supply chain challenges.
