New features to help companies respond in real-time to supply chain requirements, provider says
Chicago — August 10, 2005 — Click Commerce Inc., a provider of collaborative commerce solutions and a pioneer in the software as a service (SaaS) industry, today announced the release of its Tradestream version 5.0 supply chain management software, which is designed to coordinate and optimize supply chain execution across a user's trading community.
The new software release includes enhancements that enable real-time responsiveness to changing supply and demand conditions, which Click Commerce stated would lead to opportunities for companies to improve customer service levels and reduce overall inventory.
Tradestream 5.0 also has features to enable companies to build demand-driven supply networks. These features include multi-tier process coordination and visibility, predictive event management, performance measurement and reporting and configurable dynamic sourcing.
"Tradestream 5.0's ability to integrate real-time information across the supply network makes it an important part of our strategy for delivering value from IT investments, including those customer's investing in radio frequency identification (RFID) technology," said Steve Cole, senior vice president of product management for Click Commerce.
