Toledo, OH — August 17, 2005 — ESYNC, a supply chain consulting firm, and Dawn Food Products Inc. (Dawn Foods), a full-service, family-owned baking industry supplier, have partnered for a supply chain execution system deployment project.

ESYNC will be spearheading the implementation and rollout of Dawn Foods' existing warehouse management system (WMS) application to 17 sites across the United States, Mexico and Canada by December of 2005.

The rollout is in response to the final rule by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) on the establishment and maintenance of records for U.S. human and animal food under the Bioterrorism Act.

For ESYNC and Dawn Foods, the project includes a project roadmap, containing resource allocation, task detail and timeline; program/project management (multiple teams); implementation and integration of a custom WMS that provides complete lot control and visibility across the Dawn Foods supply chain network; training sessions; and on-site support for operations.

Charlie Massoglia, chief information officer for Dawn Foods, says, When you are under a mandated deadline, you want dependable, experienced and knowledgeable resources that know how to execute a plan. We selected ESYNC for this project not only because they met the criteria, but they also have a comprehensive implementation methodology and rollout strategy.

ESYNC principal and co-founder, John Sidell, says, We realize the critical nature of this project for Dawn Foods and are proud to have been selected as their trusted partner. Given the support we've received from Dawn Foods, we are confident this project will be delivered in time to meet the mandate.
