On-demand sourcing solution provider aims to remove barriers to savings for SMEs and large enterprises

Plano, TX — September 20, 2005 — MINDFLOW, a provider of on-demand solutions for inbound supply chain planning and sourcing optimization, has taken the wraps off a new decision support architecture designed to remove barriers to achieving cost savings for small, medium and large corporations. The architecture includes the MINDFLOW ERP Connector, J2EE compliance and on-demand capabilities.

Using the MINDFLOW ERP Connector, users will be able to exchange master data with their system of record in order to build cost-saving decision models, according to the solution provider. This direct link leverages all available information and ensures sourcing professionals apply complete and reliable data, MINDFLOW said.

"The MINDFLOW ERP Connector allows sourcing practitioners to make even more effective allocation decisions that impact margins, while reducing the time it takes to create and maintain master data by an average of 40 percent," the solution provider said.

"Reducing costs via strategic sourcing is a strong value proposition," noted Sudy Bharadwaj, vice president of solutions delivery and marketing for MINDFLOW. "The ability to quickly obtain data from any ERP platform or environment, such as SAP or Oracle, and apply that valuable intelligence using on-demand sourcing and negotiation strategies now makes that value proposition possible for any company."

MINDFLOW recently was documented as the only vendor with two clients listed as "best practices companies" in Aberdeen Group's advanced negotiations and sourcing report. The company also has announced a number of new customers, including VWR Corporation and Independent Purchasing Cooperative/Subway.

The company recently released MINDFLOW 5.0, MINDFLOW OnDemand and Category-in-a-Box. MINDFLOW said it has been recognized in Gartner Group's Magic Quadrant Report as a leader in sourcing solutions.
