Solution provider augments brain trust working on challenges of remote service parts control and management
San Mateo, CA — November 15, 2005 — Supply chain solution provider SeeControl has named two top supply chain luminaries, Dr. Hau Lee and Dr. David Pyke, to its board of advisors, seeking to apply their collective thought-leadership to the challenges of remote service parts control and management.
SeeControl provides a Web-based data collection and item management platform to enable companies to oversee distant inventories held at customer sites, partner locations, enterprise data centers and plant floors. The return on investment in the solution comes in the form of increased customer responsiveness with less inventory and operational cost, according to the solution provider, whose customers include the U.S. military and ABB.
Lee is a well-known expert in supply chain management and is a co-director of Stanford's Global Supply Chain Forum, as well as the Thoma Professor for Stanford's Graduate School of Business. He is the founder of two technology companies and serves on the boards of several private companies.
