To improve the accounting and tracking expenditures surrounding contract labor

Atlanta March 5, 2004 The Neiman Marcus Group Inc. has selected Managed Services, a business unit of MATRIX Resources Inc., to improve the company's management and utilization of its temporary/contract labor force, specifically the accounting and tracking expenditures surrounding the use of contract labor.

Under terms of the multi-year agreement, MATRIX Managed Services will combine its staffing processes with the Peopleclick vendor management system (VMS) for a customized solution. Peopleclick, a total workforce acquisition provider for global enterprises, said it provides automated contract and candidate management through VMS.

In addition, MATRIX said it would deliver the training for all internal Neiman Marcus personnel, staffing vendors and consultants, and provide on-going support of the VMS system. Program management will occur from MATRIX offices in Atlanta and Dallas.

Jim Huling, MATRIX CEO, said, "We are very pleased to have been selected by Neiman Marcus to provide a customized Managed Services solution. Neiman Marcus has a well-deserved reputation for the highest levels of quality and service. We look forward to helping implement Managed Services processes that support and enhance Neiman Marcus's corporate goals."

Managed Services is the concept that one staffing agency is chosen as a "partner" to work with the employer to manage procurement and administration of contract labor. Other staffing agencies that support the employer also work through the partner.
