Global manufacturing company to automate and streamline supply chain processes with webMethods Integration Platform
Fairfax, VA — March 26, 2004 — Components manufacturer Lite-On Technology Corporation is set to use an integration platform from webMethods as its strategic technology platform to enable real-time integration and global visibility across its worldwide operations.
Lite-On is a worldwide supplier of computer peripherals, ranging from optical disk solutions to digital consumer appliances for the PC and consumer electronics industry, with $4.53 billion revenue in 2003. The company, which is headquartered in Taiwan, has sales and manufacturing operations spread across America, Europe and Asia.
Using webMethods' Integration Platform, Lite-On is looking to integrate key systems and automate business processes across its global operations to create cost savings by streamlining its supply chain processes.
The company will deploy the Integration Platform to link its global business systems. By leveraging webMethods' integration capabilities, Lite-On expects to achieve accurate and real-time business information for all its plants and subsidiaries worldwide.
