Apparel firm increases its "speed of business," reaps cost savings with move to electronic data interchange service

New York NY — April 9, 2004 — Apparel firm A.H. Schreiber has selected B2B connectivity specialist Internet Commerce Corporation (ICC) to handle all its electronic data interchange (EDI) communications through the ICC.NET service in a move that has helped increase the company's "speed of business" and reduce its costs, the service provider announced this week.

A.H. Schreiber provides women's and girl's swimwear manufacturer to department stores, specialty stores and major discounters.

Ronnie Marasciulo, EDI coordinator for A.H. Schreiber, said that as one of the largest swimwear distributors in the world, it was critical for the company to engage the most flexible and advanced value added network available. "ICC was brought to our attention through an important trading partner who highly recommended the ICC.NET service," Marasciulo said.

ICC says it offers an Internet-based value added network with supply chain connectivity solutions for EDI and electronic commerce (EDI/EC), as well as vehicle to securely transact files of any format and size.

Marasciulo pointed to several benefits of using ICC.NET's services. "We manufacture our products in six different countries, including the United States," he said. "Using ICC.NET, I have been able to log on from anywhere that has Internet connection. I do not have to be in my office at my computer."

And he added: "Since we initiated use of ICC.NET, the speed of doing business has dramatically improved, and we have enjoyed significant cost-savings."
