Adds capabilities around retained, regular services; allows one-time payment processing for bonuses, expenses
Denver, CO — April 19, 2004 — Services procurement specialist IQNavigator today took the wraps off the latest version of its eponymous solution, offering version 6 of its hosted software suite simultaneously in Canadian French and both British and American flavors of English.
The services procurement solution, IQNavigator6, allows user-selectable languages and locales for the entire software suite, according to the solution provider. IQNavigator said that this language capability permits each end-user to select his or her language of choice, while the application provides integrated roll-up reporting and process consistency where desired.
IQNavigator6 also increases the types of outside services spending that can be sourced, procured, delivered and paid through the solution, adding retained services such as marketing creative services and legal services, as well as continuous and regular services such as facilities management and support services.
In addition, the latest version provides for one-time payment processing for items such as bonuses or expense reimbursement. And IQNavigator said that version 6 enables workflows for processing hundreds of requisitions, resources or assignments at once, a feature targeted at such high-volume users of contingent workers as light-industrial manufacturing and shift-based, round-the-clock operations like hospitals.
IQNavigator said that its hosted customers gained immediate access to version 6's new capabilities, and international deployments are already under way.
For example, Laura Mitchell, contingent workforce category leader for IQNavigator customer Shell Oil Products U.S., said that her company is already rolling out the new version across the company. "With IQNavigator6, we are now deploying globally in order to extend the benefits we've achieved from managing external contingent labor in the U.S. and to further leverage best practices across the company," Mitchell said.
The provider also announced compliance and registration with the U.S. Commerce Department's Safe Harbor agreement to comply with the European Union's Directive on Data Privacy, and the company said it has opened an office in central London to oversee European expansion.
