Plano, TX — April 19, 2004 — CHiA'SSO (pronounced "key-ahsso"), a Chicago-based contemporary home furnishings and decor cataloger, has chosen PFSweb, Inc. to provide supply chain support for its direct marketing and e-commerce operations.

Under the three-year agreement, PFSweb said it would support CHiA'SSO's print and online catalog through a direct marketing solution enabled by the Ecometry Commerce Suite and supported by PFSweb's supply chain services, including e-commerce support, order management, call center support, distribution and reverse logistics, among other capabilities.

"Instead of building our own distribution facility and call center, we wanted to outsource those functions so we could limit capital investment and preserve our resources for working capital," said Greg Kadens, partner at CHiA'SSO. "We interviewed many logistics providers, and PFSweb stood out because their people are knowledgeable, have a 'can-do' attitude and incorporate technology to benefit their clients."

Michael Willoughby, PFSweb's chief information officer, said the company's offering for direct marketers is strengthened by the recent addition of the Ecometry suite and has created a direct-marketing niche for PFSweb with partners such as CHiA'SSO.

"Combined with our direct-marketing clients, including The United States Mint and Smithsonian Business Ventures, this new offering provides a complete solution from which CHiA'SSO and its customers will benefit greatly."

CHiA'SSO's three-year contract is part of PFSweb's recently announced new and expanded clients that are expected to generate $4 million in annual service fee revenues and about $20 million in annual product revenues, once fully implemented.
