Incorporating freight forwarding software from Trans-Soft into operating platform
Scottsdale, AZ — April 21, 2004 — Freight brokerage company InterMoveGlobal is set to use freight forwarding software from Trans-Soft in a move to streamline its operations.
Based in Phoenix, InterMoveGlobal electronically handles, via its Web site and electronic data interchange (EDI), a variety of inbound and outbound freight for shippers, across all modes of transportation, with its primary focus on less-than-truckload (LTL) over-the-road (OTR) transit. The company was founded in 2003.
InterMoveGlobal has purchased Trans-Soft's TS2000 Plus suite of freight forwarding software applications for use in its operations. Trans-Soft is also building and hosting the freight broker's new Web site, which enables shippers to log on to find a carrier match for its loads.
Trans-Soft said its TS2000 Plus core software applications provide freight forwarders with shipment, tracking and administrative solutions via its modules that integrate shipment data critical to the logistics process with either a back office or remote PC or laptop computer and an Internet connection.
"Integrating Trans-Soft's software into our operational platform enables us to significantly streamline our dispatch, tracking and administrative functions," said Jason Martin, president of InterMoveGlobal. "Its unique software modules create immediate electronic efficiencies for both us and the shippers we match loads for."
"Keeping track of freight movement so it is not mishandled is the single most important function freight brokers and shippers deal with every day," said Dave Hockersmith, president of Trans-Soft. "TS2000 Plus was designed to ensure that critical shipment information is always available at the click of a mouse as it moves through the supply chain."
Trans-Soft is a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based technology company that develops and implements transportation management solutions for logistics operations in the freight forwarding industry.
