Selects Ascential Software for on demand warehouse data integration

Westboro, MA — June 22, 2004 — Harley-Davidson Inc., the parent company for the group of companies doing business as Harley-Davidson Motor Co., said today that it is using Ascential RTI to help power the company's enterprise data warehouse initiatives.

Harley-Davidson said it selected Ascential Software because of the company's track record of success, evidenced by its installed base of more than 3,000 customers.

Ascential RTI, a key component of the Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite, makes Ascential data integration services available on-demand across the enterprise, which enables operational improvements in areas ranging from finance to supply chain to customer service and labor management, according to Ascential.

Ascential said its Enterprise Integration Suite is a data integration solution that profiles, cleanses and transforms data from almost any application or system regardless of data volume or latency.

The provider added that its integrated offering is designed to help companies streamline operations, improve customer support, expedite business transactions, and make better tactical and strategic decisions on the basis of the best available information.

Harley-Davidson Motor Co. produces heavyweight street, custom and touring motorcycles and offers a complete line of motorcycle parts, accessories, apparel and general merchandise.
