Household and Body Care Division selects business intelligence software

Raleigh, NC — July 27, 2004 — The global manufacturer and marketer of brand-name products for consumers Sara Lee Corp. said today that it has deployed QlikView, QlikTech's flagship business intelligence (BI) and performance management software, throughout its U.S. Household and Body Care Division.

QlikTech said QlikView's architecture eliminates the process of designing, developing and maintaining OLAP cubes and, in most cases, the need to build and maintain separate data warehouses and data marts. This, in turn, enables companies to develop and deploy BI and performance management applications in days rather than the customary weeks or months, according to QlikTech.
