Version of collaboration and document management solution targeted for small project groups

San Francisco — October 4, 2004 — Citadon, a provider of integrated Web-based collaboration, document management and business process management solutions, today announced the availability of Citadon ProjectNet Small Team Edition (STE). Designed for emerging project groups, ProjectNet STE is a Web-based document management solution for real-time collaboration and information sharing among team members.

"Organizations of every size face the challenge of bringing together project teams, and managing the constant flow of changes in project deliverables," commented Howard Koenig, president and CEO of Citadon. "ProjectNet STE provides a way for individuals within organizations or departments to manage and organize project documents, and to enhance their ability to collaborate with team members and partners with minimal investment."

Koenig said ProjectNet allows users to store, track and manage changes to documents for projects on a global enterprise scale. It also has collaborative functions, including calendar scheduling, threaded discussion and messaging capabilities, and the ability to create an audit trail.

John Irish, senior IT consultant for Chicago-based Sargent & Lundy LLC, a professional services firm specializing in electric power projects, said his company has used Citadon ProjectNet for over five years in over 50 engineering, design, procurement and consulting projects. "Given the complex nature of engineering and building these one-of-a-kind facilities, Project Net has become essential — and not just for managing project documents and deliverables. The collaboration capabilities within ProjectNet are invaluable in terms of the speed and accuracy with which we can respond to situations occurring in the field. In some cases, issues that might have taken three days to resolve can now be addressed the same day."

ProjectNet has been adopted for a variety of collaborative applications, including architecture, engineering and construction, government, transportation, power and energy, oil and gas, supply chain and manufacturing, and industries where document management and business project management help eliminate paperwork and shorten time to market.

Citadon said ProjectNet STE is considered to be on-demand and requires no software installation. It is priced at $70.00 per user per month.
