The company will use Demantra's Spectrum solution as part of an effort to improve collaboration between its national sales and marketing and supply chain divisions in order to synchronize efforts throughout the supply chain, with the goals of reducing forecast error, inventory holdings and stock outs.
During the first phase of the implementation, Weider will use Spectrum's demand management capabilities to produce more accurate demand plans, improving consensus forecasting for production planning purposes.
