Nihon Unisys partners with Servigistics to offer solutions throughout Japan

Atlanta — December 15, 2004 — Nihon Unisys, a systems integration provider, and Servigistics Asia, a subsidiary of service parts management specialist Servigistics, are partnering to offer service parts management solutions throughout Japan.

The first solution provider to specialize in spare parts management in Japan, Servigistics Asia was established in April 2004 and has already been deployed in Japan's Toshiba Medical Systems after a six-month implementation.

Servigistics plans to expand its business in Japan and further align with Nihon Unisys, which has significant system integration capability. Nihon Unisys has been concentrating on after-service business, such as support and maintenance since 2001.

The partnership is expected to close deals with 20 customers in the high-tech, semiconductor, precision machine, auto and aero segments, and generate more than 3 billion yen, according to the two solution providers.
