Selects QRS solutions for electronic commerce, data synchronization

Richmond, CA — December 17, 2003 — Jockey International has selected solutions from retail specialist QRS in a bid to improve its supply chain collaboration and market differentiation.

Located in Kenosha, Wisc., 127-year-old Jockey manufactures apparel products sold in major department and specialty stores across the country and in more than 120 countries around the world.

The company will use QRS Exchange and QRS Catalogue, having selected QRS for its expertise in the retail industry and core apparel customer base.

QRS says that by using Exchange for electronic commerce, Jockey can maximize its existing infrastructure to exchange information such as purchase orders, invoices and advanced ship notices with its trading partners. Exchange can help Jockey reduce costs by automating business transactions, cutting cycle times and improving trading partner relationships through real-time monitoring, the solution provider said.

To further improve supply chain collaboration, Jockey is using QRS Catalogue for data synchronization to enable fast and reliable product catalogue setup and support, with the goals of reducing time-to-market and driving improved sales. By streamlining trading partner collaboration through Catalogue, Jockey is looking to maintain data integrity across its trading community, with the goals of saving time and money through reduced chargebacks and faster cycle times.

"QRS solutions aim to help Jockey realize an increase in productivity, customer satisfaction and collaboration," said Liz Fetter, president and CEO of QRS Corporation.
