Establishes Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai

Waukesha, WI — December 19, 2003 — Supply chain technology company RedPrairie Corp. today announced it has opened its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China.

With an initial staff of 20, the office is expected to grow to 60 employees by the end of 2004. The Asia-Pac headquarters is responsible for sales, customer support and product development for the Far East.

RedPrairie said it is the first in its industry to establish Asia-Pac headquarters in China.

Commented John Jazwiec, RedPrairie company leader: "Creating a presence in China supports our global customers as they grow their Asia-Pac operations. The result will be enhanced worldwide operations and improved local support for our global customers."

The headquarters opened in December 2003 with an initial staff of 20 professionals. During 2004 the office will be systematically expanded to approximately 60 employees, with added sales, support and development personnel. This office will lead RedPrairie's sales efforts in China and throughout the Far East.

"As we looked to ramp-up our Asia-Pac operations, we considered several offshore locations" Jim Hoefflin, RedPrairie product development and strategy leader, explained. "Although they all offered favorable cost models, the availability of a large and highly skilled workforce with good computer and language skills, the proximity to several of our global clients' growing Asian operations, and the rapidly expanding Chinese business market made Shanghai the obvious choice for our headquarters."
