Reading, Pa.—Sept. 3, 2013—Alan Winegar was named Vice President, Supply Chain Services at Fortna, a global professional services firm. Winegar will lead Fortna’s practice that focuses on supply chain execution software for warehouse management, transportation and labor. The group helps companies determine the strategy and business case for technology investment, and select and implement the appropriate solution to achieve business goals. This is a critical component of Fortna’s integrated model for large supply chain transformation projects.
Winegar comes to Fortna from JDA Software (formerly RedPrairie), where he was Vice President of Consulting Services. Prior to RedPrairie, Winegar held various positions in services, product development, product management and operations at Direct Supply, Inc.
