BlueGrace Logistics Expands Internal Operations

Freight and logistics provider continues steady growth with location expansion and appointment of key transportation industry executive

Riverview, Fla.—March 26, 2012— Logistics, transportation and technology provider BlueGrace Logistics is expanding its internal operations to an additional location adjacent to its current headquarters.

The expansion follows as part of the company’s steady growth in the $600 billion dollar shipping industry, in which it doubled its system-wide revenues every year since its inception in 2007. Along with an increasing client-base, the company has added new franchise locations in 16 territories and plans to add 20 more this year.

“This expansion is a true testament to our success and growth, both internally and nationwide,” said Bobby Harris, Chief Executive Officer and President for BlueGrace Logistics. “Having additional space allows us to continue providing outstanding services while increasing job opportunities in the community.”

In addition to the expansion, Adam Blankenship, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Customer Development, will be responsible for yield management, marketing, strategy and sales planning for the brand.

“BlueGrace is a fast-paced company powered by an energetic team of leaders,” said Blankenship. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with a variety of different people at such a growth oriented company.”

The 4,500 square-foot facility will house the specialized service team and the technology department. All other departments will remain in Riverview, Fla. With room for nearly 70 employees, BlueGrace expects to see both departments grow to capacity within one year of the expansion. The company plans to hire employees in such positions as sales and operations; truckload sales; carrier sales; and rating specialist and manager.
