Sunrise, Fla.March 13, 2013—Under a new partnership, Air cargo data solutions provider OAG Cargo will provide flight schedules data for the Worldwide Information Network (WIN), a cloud-based e-communications platform for independent freight forwarders. This will give WIN members immediate online access to more than 700,000 direct and connecting flights worldwide. Additionally, the flight schedules data will be available right from within the WIN platform.

“This deal is a significant development for WIN members as it allows small- and medium-sized freight forwarders to effectively compete with larger companies that have broad access to similar data,” said Alv Hill, Executive Vice President of OAG Cargo. “Our product also saves valuable time through its simplicity and ease in finding the best flight and route for any consignment.”

OAG Cargo’s flight schedules data is due to go live on the WIN platform later this year.

“Empowering independent forwarders with broad reach in terms of connectivity and the latest tools to enhance their airfreight operations is a priority for WIN in 2013,” confirmed John DeBenedette, Managing Director, Worldwide Information Network (WIN). “The addition of OAG flight schedules is an important strategic step towards achieving our goals.”
