Phoenix — October 26, 2004 — Intesource, which provides online sourcing technology and consulting services for companies in the retail industries, today announced RfiIt!, the latest addition to its integrated sourcing suite offerings.
Building on IntesourceWare 3.5, Intesource said RfiIt! features tools to help companies create, distribute and analyze requests for information (RFIs) and request for proposals (RFPs) online.
"Our customers have taught us that distributing, collecting and analyzing RFIs and RFPs is an essential part of their strategic sourcing and negotiation process. Traditional methods are time-consuming and labor-intensive," said Rich Solar, vice president of Technology, Intesource. "They have asked for an easy data collection tool to enable them to make their decision-making more effective, and we have created RfiIt! with their goals in mind."
The Intesource Sourcing Suite's RfiIt! solution replaces repetitive, paper-based processes with a Web-based solution to streamline and standardize the data collection and analysis process.
Some of its key features include supplier scorecard automated analysis and evaluation, an intuitive RFI builder, and streamlined communications and event management.
According to Intesource, RfiIt! is generally available and in use by customers today.
