xkzero announced the availability of integrated route optimization capabilities for its flagship sales and delivery platform, xkzero Mobile Commerce (XMC).

The new features enable users to define delivery routes based on multiple factors, including lowest mileage, customer preferred delivery times and more. It allows for routes to be dispatched from multiple sites and can optimize up to 125 stops per route. A unique capability allows routes to optionally be reoptimized in real time by drivers on their mobile devices. Key information is available to customer service personnel as well as drivers, including estimated arrival times and delivery status.

“Virtually every company we talk to is looking for a better way to create their ideal delivery routes and improve the customer experience,” said xkzero co-founder Paul Ziliak. “Route optimization for XMC provides just that–and it’s seamlessly integrated into our powerful sales and delivery system for ERP. This is vital technology for delivery distribution. It’s mind boggling to think that there are 31 million plus possible route combinations for a single 11 stop route. By simply enabling Route Optimization technology in xkzero Mobile Commerce, businesses will be able to minimize labor, have fewer missed stops, lower their fuel costs and have happier customers.”
