Superior, CO October 31, 2002 OneRealm, a supplier of product data quality management software, has formed a strategic relationship with Enterworks, a provider of supplier enablement software, to offer a joint supplier enablement solution.
This news follows OneRealm's recent announcement of its Product Data Quality Solution Version 2.1, a modular software suite that supports automated cleansing and normalization, part classification, as well as language translation of product data.
For its part, Enterworks recently rolled out its Catalog Builder, an e-procurement catalog solution that enables manufacturers and other suppliers to integrate and deliver catalog content from multiple, disparate sources to multiple electronic sales channels.
With this agreement, Enterworks will resell OneRealm's solution integrated with Catalog Builder, providing customers with part classification to multiple industry standards, cleaning and normalization, and automated language translation of product data and descriptions.
"To succeed in e-procurement, suppliers have to be able to cleanse and normalize large volumes of product data," said Bob Lewis, president of Enterworks. "We selected OneRealm because they offer an automated solution to speed up this process and ensure accuracy for both buyers and suppliers."
Lewis also noted that OneRealm supports multiple presentation and classification schemes mandated by e-procurement buyers. "In addition to delivering these benefits, OneRealm offers automated language translation capabilities that will enable Enterworks' customers to present catalog data worldwide in the natural language of their buyers," Lewis said.
Commenting on the deal, Dave Runge, CEO of OneRealm, said: "Many of our customers are deploying e-catalog solutions across their enterprise for the first time, and now we'll be able to team with the Enterworks sales force to provide a comprehensive e-catalog solution for those customers."
