Peregrine Systems, Inc., provider of Get.It!(TM) Employee Self Service Weblications(TM) announced an alliance with Boise Cascade Office Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Boise Cascade Corporation, to offer an advanced solution for the electronic ordering of office supplies and other business consumables through Peregrine Systems' Get.It! product suite. The combination of Get.Resources!(TM), Peregrine Systems' employee self service e-Procurement solution, with Boise's e-catalogs improves the purchasing process by including data rationalization and catalog access required by both buyers and suppliers.

Get.Resources! automates the e-Procurement process by allowing customers to purchase office supplies directly through Boise's e-catalogs, which can be hosted on either the buyer's or supplier's sites. This e-Procurement solution is uniquely enabled by Peregrine Systems' recently completed acquisition of Harbinger Corporation. Peregrine Systems' new e-business network handles more than one million transactions per day and will be the backbone for connectivity between Boise and buyers using Get.Resources!

This alliance provides customers direct electronic access to over 12,000 office products through general or customer specific e-catalogs. By connecting directly to Boise, buyers reduce their costs to process purchase orders and control maverick buying. Also, this mechanism gives small to medium sized companies the same buying power as large corporations.
