Coffee Contact moves into $50 billion market

Washington, DC-based Coffee Contact announced the launch of its new b2b site yesterday. Coffee is one of the most traded commodities on the world market, second only to oil at $50 billion.

Coffee Contact offers a platform of trading green coffee and tea, streaming coffee quotes, industry specific news and other assorted goodies to keep the visitor entertained and informed. Future plans include adding freight quotes, shipping logistics, customs clearance and web-based coffee contracts.

The exchange is aimed at anyone involved in the green coffee or tea industries, including producers, exporters/importers, roasters and brokers.
