O'Hara named president of U.S. Wireless Data

NEW YORK  December 20, 2000  USWD (U.S. Wireless Data), a wireless technology application provider for the transaction processing industry, recently named Christopher W. O'Hara as its president, a newly created position. O'Hara will oversee sales, business development, account management and marketing efforts. He will report to CEO Dean M. Leavitt.

O'Hara joins USWD from International Check Services, a check processing industry, where he served as president and CEO. Prior to that, O'Hara served as General Manager of National Processing Company's Merchant Services Division, where he managed sales, operations, MIS, product development and business integration efforts.

The breadth and depth of Chris's experience in the areas of merchant payment processing will be a great asset to the company, said CEO Leavitt. We eagerly anticipate the synergies that his expertise will provide as we rapidly expand the wireless transaction processing marketplace.
