Fremont and Redwood Shores, CA May 10, 2001 Clickmarks, a provider of software infrastructure for enterprise clients and wireless carriers, and SeeBeyond, a provider of eBI solutions, today announced an alliance agreement in which Clickmarks will integrate SeeBeyond's eBusiness Integration solutions into its mobile software platform, which will be resold as a part of its comprehensive product offering. In addition to mobilizing content, transactions, and processes over a wireless devices, including Personal Digital Assistants (Palm OS, Pocket PC), Web-enabled phones (WML, HDML, CHTML, MML), pagers (RIM, Motorola) and voice phones, Clickmarks can also provide global customers with the ability to connect enterprise-level data and applications over any device, whether wired or wireless.
Clickmarks' infrastructure makes it possible to wireless-enable content without costly programming. Using the SeeBeyond eBusiness Integration platform, Clickmarks can leverage its Enterprise Habitat portal architecture to enable any enterprise to more easily interact with its business applications or data repositories over mobile devices, securely and in real time. Specific examples of mobilized business applications and processes include personal information management (PIM), Sales Force Automation, supply chain management, customer service and care, and intelligent alerts.
