Northville, MI June 5, 2001 Automotive lighting manufacturer Stanley Electric recently signed up to use software from e-commerce applications provider Synapz to manage data exchange with its auto-industry suppliers.
London, Ohio-based Stanley Electric is a $2 billion global manufacturer of external lighting devices, such as headlamps and taillights, and internal lighting devices, using LEDs, LCDs, CFLs, SFLs and SMLs, for the U.S. automotive industry.

Eclipz also offers a number of integrated applications that include bar coding, e- mail notification of customer requirements and a supplier gateway to link an enterprise resource planning or materials resource planning (ERP/MRP) application. Eclipz will also be made available to Stanley Electric's direct and indirect suppliers.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. This agreement brings the total number of contracts for Eclipz to nine since the first quarter of 2001.
