The Woodlands, TX and Westminster, CO July 31, 2001 Utility and energy services industries marketplace Pantellos has selected Requisite Technology to provide Pantellos members with enhanced content management capabilities. According to the companies, the relationship is designed to provide Pantellos suppliers with greater control over their own content and access to new customers, while buyers will receive better options for browsing and searching supplier catalogs.

Pantellos plans to use Requisite's abilities to allows its members overcome such obstacles as downloading a supplier's catalog on their own buying application, and to gain greater control over updating, publishing, and searching online content. Using the Pantellos Content Portal powered by Requisite, suppliers publish and update their own content, giving them control over how the information is portrayed to potential new customers. Buyers can browse catalogs online without downloading large quantities of data, and can use more powerful search tools when looking for specific items.
The relationship also enables Pantellos members to subscribe to content in various formats, whether hosted by Pantellos or residing locally within the members' systems. Pantellos members can participate in the marketplace and leverage solutions using platforms from SAP, Oracle, Ariba, PeopleSoft, Indus, Commerce One and others by leveraging the Requisite Unifying Structure, the company's open standard for organizing catalog content on the Web, along with the eMerge content management system and its BugsEye finding engine.
