San Mateo, CA October 15, 2001 Poet Software, a provider of content management software, today announced that Mitsubishi Corp., with annual operation transactions of about 117 billion dollars, has chosen Poet eSupplierWeb as the e-catalog content management solution for its e-procurement and e-marketplace initiatives.
eSupplierWeb is Poet's hosted e-catalog creation, management and distribution system, which the company said integrates with Commerce One applications, is designed specifically for e-marketplace operators and application service providers (ASPs), to offer suppliers and buyers a way to create and manage a Commerce One formatted catalog for their own e-marketplace.
In a statement, Mitsubishi said it selected the eSupplierWeb because it had significant need for e-catalog management software to complete its e-marketplace and e-procurement solutions.
