New York October 15, 2001 Deloitte Consulting today announced its agreement with SupplySolution, a provider of supply chain execution applications for manufacturing, distribution, exchange, and supplier organizations, to provide project management, implementation, support, maintenance and other services to SupplySolution's customers.
Deloitte Consulting is to serve as an implementation ally for SupplySolution's fulfillment application, i-Supply, to automotive and manufacturing companies worldwide. Now operating at more than 1,100 supplier companies worldwide, i-Supply, available over the Covisint exchange as Covisint Fulfillment, is currently used by customers in the manufacturing industry for direct material fulfillment. Founded by several of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, Covisint is a global solutions provider whose services improve processes such as collaborative product development, procurement and supply chain management.
In addition to its i-Supply implementation role, Deloitte Consulting will also provide project management, support, maintenance and other services for i-Supply and other SupplySolution product lines.
In establishing this agreement, SupplySolution expects to leverage Deloitte Consulting's industry cachet, resources and global leadership to extend the deployment of the company's supply chain execution technologies.
