New contract to provide Ocean Spray with software and transportation solutions

Green Bay, WI  October 30, 2001  Schneider Logistics Inc., a provider of technology-based logistics services, has announced the renewal of its alliance with Ocean Spray, which expands the scope of services Schneider Logistics provides to the producer of canned and bottled juices and juice drinks.

Under terms of the agreement, Schneider Logistics will add Web-enabled performance and volume reporting, proof-of-delivery (POD) procurement, and customer return transportation management to its service offerings. It also will continue to handle Ocean Spray's freight payment, domestic finished goods, and domestic and Canadian transfer distribution management.

Ocean Spray has agreed to let Schneider Logistics provide consultation and solutions in load consolidation, optimized carrier selection, and comprehensive freight management.
