ATLANTA March 21, 2002 The joint efforts of Ariba and Coreharbor have recently elicited the attention of a major network security company. CoreHarbor, a B2B e-commerce service provider, today announced that Network Associates, a provider of network security and availability solutions for e-business, has selected Ariba® Buyer" and CoreHarbor's hosted and managed solution to streamline its procurement process, increase efficiencies and reduce costs company-wide.
Network Associates will use Ariba Buyer for enterprise-wide supply and services procurement, by electronically aggregating corporate purchasing from each employee desktop and directing the spend to preferred suppliers. Additionally, Network Associates will use Ariba® Travel & Expense" for expense report management. CoreHarbor will provide the infrastructure, as well as the required e-commerce expertise to host and manage the Ariba solution for Network Associates.

Ariba systems integrator partner, Andersen will provide implementation services, integrating Ariba Buyer with Network Associates' back-end ERP systems. Network Associates expects to go live with the hosted Ariba solution by May this year.
Network Associates will also utilize the Ariba® Supplier Network" for transparent collaboration with its suppliers. In addition, CoreHarbor will provide value-added services, such as catalog management that are critical to the successful adoption of the solution, and Ariba-specific application monitoring to ensure constant system availability.
