HAHT Quick Connect operates within a company's firewall and is an economical package that includes components of HAHT's Product and Brand Information Management product set, which is part of the HAHT Commerce Suite. This bundle combines the HAHT Catalog, Consumer Products Publisher for UCCnet, and Content Syndicator, together with 25 days of consulting time.
HAHT Quick Connect for UCCnet is designed to help consumer products manufacturers eliminate errors and increase efficiencies. On any given day, a typical manufacturer will manually update item specifications across 10 internal systems, leading to outdated and inaccurate item information for retailers. Studies indicate the rate of these errors is as high as 30%, and according to Forrester Research, cost the industry a staggering $32B annually (Collaborating for CPG Success December 2001).
A study by the Gartner Group from February of last year, entitled UCCnet Connecting Beyond Four Walls states that a company's use of standard data formats like UCCnet for item synchronization offers the potential of 50 percent to 60 percent reduction in deductions due to invoice discrepancies and product delivery errors.
Pfizer Consumer Healthcare will leverage the UCCnet GLOBALregistry" and industry standards to synchronize accurate and timely product information with our trading partners, said Clare Knight, Director of EDI & B2B Information Systems at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. HAHT Commerce's Product and Brand Information Management solutions were selected to enable us to automate the processes of gathering and organizing our information prior to publishing it to UCCnet and our trading partners.
Haht Commerce is a preferred member of UCCnet's Partners In Sync program. Partners In Sync enables alliance partners to provide integrated eCommerce solutions to the expanding UCCnet trading partner community. The program certifies partners to develop compliant business applications and services that enable trading partners to rapidly and efficiently implement UCCnet services. Haht expects to complete the final steps for UCCnet certification for Quick Connect at the end of May.
