Ann Arbor, MIJune 21, 2002BRAIN North America, Inc., an e-business solutions provider for the automotive industry, announced recently that Cristian Anastasiu has been appointed President and CEO of BRAIN North America, Inc. Anastasiu brings with him more than 12 years experience in the high-tech software and hardware industries, most recently from Cisco Systems.
At Cisco, Cristian moved from a regional Account Manager to a regional Sales Manager, where he and his team quadrupled revenues over a three-year period, reaching one of the highest year-over-year growth rates company-wide. In 1999 he relocated to San Jose, California as Director Worldwide Sales Operations. There, he led an organization responsible for global operational and strategic sales activities. Some of Cristian's responsibilities included: Global Account Management, Sales Acquisition Integration, Advanced Services Sales and Field Marketing. Cristian's other experience includes: marketing and sales management positions for software firms including Gupta Technologies, and ITT Semiconductors. He holds an MSEE from the Technical University Darmstadt, Germany, and an MBA from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. He is also a Fulbright Alumnus.
