Solo Cup selects Commerce One for UCCnet registry implementation

PLEASANTON, CAJune 26, 2002Commerce One, the Business Internet Company, and Solo Cup, a provider of consumer and industrial disposable food service products, has announced that Solo Cup will use Commerce One services and tools to publish its critical product information on the UCCnet GLOBALregistry.


The UCCnet GLOBALregistry is a repository of product information such as SKU numbers, size, availability and pricing for the CPG industry. Commerce One helps companies like Solo Cup accurately add their product information to the registry so that retailers can easily find products for their stores. By doing so, Solo hopes to reduce costs, speed product introduction and improve communication and collaboration with retail customers in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
