Montreal October 2, 2002 Visar Logistics is set to implement a Web-based supply chain management solution from TECSYS while also partnering with the software provider to jointly market their services.
Houston, Texas-based Visar is a full-service third-party logistics provider (3PL). The company is implementing TECSYS' EliteSeries suite of applications for supply chain management.
The EliteSeries suite includes modules for enterprise performance management, distribution management, warehouse management, transportation management and e-commerce.
In addition, TECSYS and Visar will join forces to co-promote their core competencies with business development and marketing initiatives.
The two companies believe the combination of the software and a 3PL provider will offer a compelling solution for businesses seeking to outsource their distribution processes.
