San Francisco, CA October 7, 2002 Clearbridge, Inc. today announced that Sterling Commerce will market its managed supply chain integration solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses. The two companies also connected their networks to exchange data in a private and secure manner.
The Clearbridge Prospero Commerce Appliance and Document Exchange Network (DxN) will be marketed by Sterling Commerce to small- and medium-sized (SMB) customers that require a completely managed solution for electronic data interchange (EDI) and eXtensible Markup Language (XML)-based trade partner integration.
Sterling Commerce and Clearbridge said it will also provide customers with access to Sterling Commerce's enterprise-class products and services, such as Sterling Information Broker network services and Gentran:Server.

The Clearbridge DxN and the Sterling Information Broker network are now interoperable.
