Dallas, TX February 12, 2003 Clear Technologies today announced that Van Symons, previously the vice president of sales, is being promoted to president and chief operating officer (COO) for the C2 CRM Division of the company. This division publishes the company's C2 CRM software application.
Symons joined Clear Technologies in October of last year after a 25-year career at IBM where he was the BI CRM Segment Manager for the eServer Division. Symons received numerous awards during his tenure with IBM, including the President's Award for outstanding achievement.
"This organizational change is part of our on-going strategy to further tighten our relationship with IBM," said Greg Colley, Clear Technologies president and CEO. "Van has had tremendous impact on the growth of our product utilizing his IBM experience of CRM ROI value propositions and best practices. His efforts have contributed significantly to C2 CRM's growth over this last year."
In his new role as president and COO, Symons will continue to drive the sales organization to expand on the company's growth. Clear Technologies recently was added as an IBM Strategic Alliance partner, and C2 CRM was chosen as IBM's recommended CRM system for the mid-market.
The browser-based application is also in contention for ISM's Top 15 CRM solutions award, which will be announced at the DCI event in Chicago on February 19th.
