Montreal — March 21, 2003 — TECSYS Inc., a supply chain management (SCM) software company, announced today it has signed an agreement with Rolf C. Hagen Inc. to implement the EliteSeries' suite of enterprise distribution management applications for worldwide business management of Hagen's distribution requirements.
Rolf Hagen founded the Hagen group of companies in 1955, and with careful management decisions he grew the companies into the largest privately owned pet supplies manufacturer and distributor in the world. According to the company, its core strategy over the last 47 years has been to offer value added distribution services and unique and high quality products.
Today Hagen employs thousands of employees worldwide, and with such complex business requirements the company searched for a solution in the market to address its needs to manage inventory on a real-time and global basis. Standardized item management, sales force automation and management tools to measure return on assets were also critical to Hagen's ability to deliver its products on-time with the best customer service.

EliteSeries will be implemented at Hagen locations in the United States, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom and France. The company will also provide the remote order entry solution via tablet PCs over a wireless network, allowing Hagen sales reps on the road to work more closely with their customers. Features include product and pricing updates, order status, order history and inventory availability status.
