Lilly Software Partners with Synchrologic

Plans to deliver customer relationship management data to remote users

Hampton, NH and Atlanta — March 31, 2003 — Lilly Software Associates has partnered with Synchrologic to offer its VISUAL CRM users the Synchrologic Data Sync, which is part of Synchrologic's Mobile Suite of mobile and wireless infrastructure software. The company said software operates as the backbone for Lilly's Remote Sync tool, so sales and service users can work remotely offline and later connect to send information and receive downloads.

Lilly Software offers its Remote Sync tool as an option within VISUAL CRM, its customer management application. Current users of the product said they could transfer data quickly since the tool updates only the fields they've changed or added since the previous synchronization, not the entire database. They also commented that the application compresses files so they are easier to transmit.

Jeff Holway, CRM program firector, Lilly Software Associates, said, "Access to current sales and service data is important to business, and we wanted our sales and service personnel, as well as our VISUAL users, to be able to take advantage of this. With the ability to configure accurate quotations in front of customers, review existing service history and notes, and then, as needed, enter additional information while on a plane for their next appointment, field associates can work efficiently while delivering customer satisfaction."

He added that Lilly Software particularly liked the advanced features of Data Sync that streamline communication sessions and provide efficient data transfers, such as offline application of database updates, efficient file formats and field-level synchronization.
