Chicago — April 29, 2003 — Electronic components distributor Newark InOne is set to debut a new Web site catering to the needs of U.S. federal government customers.
Newark InOne, which changed its name from Newark Electronics earlier this year, will premier its new www.teamgov.com Web site May 6 at the upcoming 2003 GSA Expo in San Antonio, but the site is already operational.
The dedicated site is open to federal government customers under Newark's U.S. federal government General Services Administration (GSA) contract. Government purchasers can use the site to locate and order electronic components, cable, tools and other equipment and products. The distributor's 2,000-page catalog can also be ordered online.
In addition to a dedicated Web site, Newark InOne said it has a specially trained team to assist federal government customers with selection, ordering and customer service. "We are committed to delivering the highest level of personal service in the industry for our federal government customers," said Doug DiVenere, director of government business and customer markets for Newark.
Newark InOne products are now available on the GSA Advantage! and Defense Department procurement Web sites.
