Designed to help executives engaged in parcel shipping to keep up with developments and technology
Chicago — July 1, 2003 — Transportation management software provider ShipNow Inc. said it has launched a new Web site featuring articles and industry information for executives engaged in parcel shipping. The provider said the site also contains features, including an interactive quiz.
ShipNow's CEO, Michael Kurgan, explained that parcel shipping has become a strategic corporate area, and the people involved in it are taking on more responsibility. "Our site will help them to keep up with developments and technology," he said.
ShipNow's expanded Web site gives information on the latest parcel-shipping technology. It also offers a combination of information and entertainment. One highlight on the site, according to Kurgan, is the interactive shipping quiz, which is updated bi-monthly. Some recent questions include: What will returns cost this year? How many Web site visitors will actually buy?
Another feature of the site is the CEO corner, where Kurgan shares his thoughts and ideas about the domestic and international shipping challenges faced by the industry. The column looks at ways to manage a company's small parcel shipping costs, while improving its brand.
Kurgan said the white paper section provides information on relevant challenges the industry is facing. The latest white paper posted on the site lists and describes 10 ways companies can slash small-parcel shipping costs.
Additionally, the FAQ section answers the most common inquiries that ShipNow receives. It is divided into technical, integration, functional, customer service and support questions.
