Army & Air Force Exchange Service to use QRS solution to synchronize more than 90 million items of product information with North American, European retailers
Richmond, CA — July 10 — QRS Corp. this week announced that the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) will use QRS Catalogue as one of its third-party providers of data synchronization to centralize product data and help optimize internal business processes among its general merchandise and apparel (GMA) trading partners.
QRS Catalogue, according to the provider, allows suppliers to synchronize current product information on more than 90 million items with retailers in North America and Europe.
QRS Catalogue can also improve order accuracy and reduce procurement cycle times while reducing order management administration costs, QRS said. As a result, AAFES said it could reduce overall operating expenses and improve staff productivity by using QRS Catalogue with its GMA trading partners.
AAFES has been a QRS customer since 1995, using QRS Exchange to manage retail supply chain communication and collaboration with its trading partners.
"QRS provides collaborative commerce solutions that benefit both retailers and vendors," said Liz Fetter, president and CEO of QRS Corp. "We are proud that our solutions help the AAFES meet the needs of American servicemen and servicewomen around the world."
