Workforce performance solution designed for employee effectiveness, increased operating results
Pleasanton, CA — August 19, 2003 — PeopleSoft Inc. this week announced Workforce Performance Solutions (WPS), a suite comprised of PeopleSoft's Enterprise Portal and HRMS Portal Pack, ePerformance, Enterprise Learning Management (ELM), eDevelopment, and components of PeopleSoft's Human Resources (HR) application.
The provider said WPS enables customers to tie together all the elements of organizational development while tracking the impact of investments in training, employee development and performance on an organization's operating and financial results. WPS also enables the appropriate training to ensure compliance with current government and legislative requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Series 7 and OSHA, according to PeopleSoft.
The company added that with WPS, IT departments could take advantage of one solution without the costs and efforts associated with integrating multiple niche vendor solutions. WPS also offers Organizational Development departments such services as real-time employee performance reviews, self-service for competency management and a comprehensive, learning management system.
Additionally, the solution helps HR organizations ensure that the Organizational Development department can execute its training and performance initiatives while meeting the needs of the Finance department, according to PeopleSoft.
