Kodak Eyes Picture-perfect Contract Management
Imaging innovator to manage complex contracts globally with I-many solution; looks to streamline processes, drive consistency, minimize compliance risks
Edison, NJ — December 26, 2007 — The Eastman Kodak Company has licensed a contract management solution from I-many as part of an initiative to manage complex contracts globally through an integrated solution.
Kodak has licensed I-many's Contract Management solution and plans to roll out the application on a global basis. The company is initially using the software within a select number of business units to create, manage and store its corporate and reseller contracts. Currently the solution is implemented within the company's Consumer Digital Group and the Graphic Communications Group.
"We are transforming Kodak into a new company, and we have a strong focus on dramatically streamlining our processes," said Ann Kerwick, director of corporate contracts for Kodak. "Deploying an enterprise solution that creates consistency across our global teams is critical. We found I-many's contract management solutions are specifically designed to deliver the efficiency we desire and to also minimize compliance risks."
Kodak's U.S. organization is planning to implement the full functionality of I-many's Contract Management solution. Globally, Kodak will be using the solution to create a central repository for contracts so teams across the world can access this information from one location. Additionally, Kodak is anticipating a time-savings in the internal approvals for contracts by automating the processes with I-many's solution.
