Auburn Hills, MI — February 19, 2009 — An auto industry supplier and a convenience store chain have signed up as new customers to use sourcing and procurement solutions from Osiris Innovations Group, the enabler has announced.

Osiris has been selected by automotive supplier KEIPER LLC to provide OS RAM, OS Catalog and strategic procurement services to support the standardization and automation of MRO procurement processes.

Osiris said its services will allow KEIPER personnel to search supplier-maintained commodity catalogs in Osiris' OS Catalog and create requisitions and purchase orders in SAP via the Oracle Call Interface (OCI) between OS Catalog and SAP. Once a requisition has been approved to a purchase order in SAP, the order will automatically be sent to the chosen suppliers' OS RAM site via the Intermediate Document Interface (idoc) between SAP and OS RAM. The entire requisition-to-payment process is automated and standardized allowing for all communications to take place between the SAP system and the Osiris platform.

"The benefits we bring to our customers go beyond just cost savings," said Osiris CEO David Saroli. "The combination of the Osiris applications and our procurement services provides the standardization and automation of the entire procurement process. This combination decreases piece price costs, dramatically increases efficiencies and provides stability for long-term cost savings."

Elsewhere, Road Ranger, a Midwest retail petroleum convenience store chain has licensed Osiris' OS Catalog along with OS Procura. With the OS Procura procurement engine, Road Ranger will be looking to manage and control all aspects of its multi-facility procurement process.

Osiris said that Road Ranger's supply chain will enjoy the benefits of OS RAM. "This application has an immediate positive impact on the supply chain side of the e-procurement process, including electronic purchase order receipt, ship notices, invoicing and payment processing," the company said.

"The Osiris purchasing solution provides a powerful platform to control spending, mitigate erroneous and fraudulent payments and secure the best products available from a vast offering of pooled items from competitive and reputable vendors," David Saporta, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Road Ranger.

"With OS Procura, Road Ranger can completely standardize and automate its procure-to-pay-to-reconcile process, ultimately reducing its processing costs, improving efficiencies and supporting reporting and compliance," said Saroli.
